Life and Professional Coaching
Having spent years as a leader, mentor, advisor, and advocate, I was drawn to coaching as a very different way of working together closely with someone one on one to tap into their inner creativity and potential and evoke transformation in a powerful, fun way.
I am trained through the Co-Active Institute (CTI) and am completing my CPCC certification now.
If you are feeling stuck, facing a barrier to achieving a goal, undergoing a significant transition in your life, having difficulty making a decision, or realizing that it's time you aimed for more in life or your career, I would love to work with you as your coach.
While I am drawn primarily to partnering with clients in academics—from graduate students through faculty established as Full Professors and in administration in higher education—I have also coached many clients outside of the University setting. And everyone brings me non-academic topics! I have also applied my coaching to developing high-impact programs at the undergraduate level.

Client testimonials
Kristen has the ability, through acute listening, to identify core issues embedded in our discussions, in a way that is both helpful and clarifying.
Going in, I wasn't sure what to expect, and I thought the takeaways would be limited to the coaching session itself and forgotten once it ended. I am glad to have been proven wrong: the coaching has carried well beyond our scheduled time, and I find myself coming back to the sessions again and again.
